The White Mountains are host to many events all year round. There are far too many for us to list them all, so we will try to highlight some of the largest ones on this page – but for a more detailed list, these websites are a great resource:

June 2026

  • All Month: “Of Birds and Places” a fantastical collaboration by Michele Johnsen and Gretchen Woodman – The Gallery at WREN – Bethlehem, NH – A vibrant celebration of nature, Of Birds and Places is a collaborative exhibition rooted in a shared love of landscape and the fantastical. Through bold color, expressive mark-making, and whimsical birds that drift between the real and the surreal, the artists explore the space where place and imagination meet. | Free & Open to Public.

  • June 5: First Friday Arts – Littleton, NH – On the first Friday of each summer month local shops, artists, and food vendors will stay open after hours to pop-up, and celebrate the arts and culture of Littleton and the surrounding North Country region. First Friday is a grassroots event that values collaboration and connection within our community. This year the event will take place on our downtown Main Street and Riverfront Park. | 5:00 PM.
  • June 5: One Night in Memphis presented by the Flying Monkey Movie House & Performance Center – Plymouth, NH – One Night in Memphis: There’s a whole lot of shakin’ going on! | DOORS 6:00 PM | SHOW 7:30 PM | 13+.
  • June 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21: Jolly June FEASTival at Santa’s Village – It is a delicious special event celebrating almost Halfway to Christmas!  Jolly June FEASTival special event dates admission includes many of Santa’s favorite park foods in the cost of admission: fountain soft drinks, juice boxes, milk, hot chocolate, and coffee; entrees from the Burger Meister Food Court, Nick’s Pizza Emporium, Dasher’s Delights, and Merry Mess Hall; desserts like cookies from the Sugar ‘n Spice Bakery, ice cream from Frosty’s Freezer, and doughnuts from the Mini Doe-Nut Factory; and snacks from Nutcracker Sweets, Polar Expresso, Fruit Loop’s Farm Stand, and Jingle Bell Concessions.  Feasting on favorites is included with admission!
  • June 6, 13, 20, 27: Murder on the Rails – Conway Scenic Railroad – Conway, NH – A cast of suspicious passengers board the train at the North Conway Station, but one of them won’t survive the trip! | Times & Rates May Vary.
  • June 6: Bethlehem Day on Main – Bethlehem, NH – Join us for a full day of fun, food, and community at Bethlehem Day on Main—a vibrant street festival celebrating everything that makes our town special! | 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • June 6: Explorers Concert, Harp Magic presented by North Country Chamber Players – Boys & Girls Club of the North Country, Lisbon, NH – The is a free event and open to the community. A special invitation to children, their families and friends! | 4:00 PM.

  • June 6: Robert Frost: This Verse Business presented by Barnstormers Theatre – North Conway native and Emmy-winner Gordon Clapp (NYPD Blue) stars as flinty and witty Robert Frost in A.M. | 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. 
  • June 7: Civics at the Cinema: All The President’s Men. Presented by The Colonial Theatre – Bethlehem, NH – 1pm – Meet the Speakers Reception | 1:30pm – Brief introduction followed by screening of All the President’s Men | After the film – Stay for a conversation about the movie and how it relates to today. | 1:00 PM
  • June 7: GALA FUNDRAISER, Concert and Dinner presented by North Country Chamber Players – **LAST CHANCE** Ticket Sales Close This Week!  Few Tickets Remaining! – Mountain View Grand, Whitefield, NH – City of Light and Love: an evening in Paris, featuring award-winning harpist Franziska Huhn and the North Country Chamber Players. | 5:00 PM.
  • June 9, 11: Bicknell’s Thrush Tours – Mt. Washington Auto Road. Mount Washington, NH – Bicknell’s Thrush is an extremely rare species with very limited breeding grounds. It is the rarest and most secretive of the breeding thrushes in North America and it is the only bird whose breeding is restricted to the Northeastern part of the continent. They usually breed at higher elevations, normally nesting above 3,000 ft. The unique and harsh climate is just what the birds prefer due to the combination of low vegetation and abundant moisture. The Mt. Washington Auto Road offers a rare opportunity to view these obscure birds. | 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
  • June 11: Butterfly Count Field Training at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center – Holderness, NH – Join Heidi Holman, NH Fish and Game Wildlife Diversity Biologist, for a hands-on field day as we search fields and forests for crescents, blues, sulphurs, and other butterflies, learning to identify them by their field marks, flight patterns, and behavior. This is a great opportunity to sharpen your butterfly identification skills before the Squam Lakes Region Butterfly Count on July 8th. No cost, advence registration required. | Ages 12+. 
  • June 11: Women’s Adventure Film Tour 2026. Presented by The Colonial Theatre – Bethlehem, NH – 1pm – The Women’s Adventure Film Tour will present a thrilling selection of films that span extreme sports, personal journeys, and boundary-pushing storytelling from across the globe. | 7:00 PM

  • June 13: Gaelic Storm Presented by The Colonial Theatre – Bethlehem, NH – It’s hard to imagine a band just coming into their own after 20 years of success, but that’s exactly what makes a true anomaly.
