The White Mountains are host to many events all year round. There are far too many for us to list them all, so we will try to highlight some of the largest ones on this page – but for a more detailed list, these websites are a great resource:

    APRIL 2025

    • May 1, 2, 3, 4: M&D Playhouse Presents: The Sweet Delilah Swim Club – In celebration of 25 years of exceptional theatre in Mt. Washington Valley, M&D Playhouse is bringing back one of the most popular shows in their history. Renamed The Sweet Delilah Swim Club, this is the story of five Southern women whose friendships began on their college swim team. They set aside a long weekend every August to recharge their relationships free from husbands, kids, and jobs. They meet at the same beach cottage, to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. This is a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever. $29/Adult, $15 Age 16 and under | 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
    • May 2 to June 27: The Gallery at WREN presents “Hear, Here.” –  An opening reception will be held on Friday, May 2nd, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Hear, Here is an exhibit by artist Ann Steuernagel created by listening to and working with the natural environment. Ann accentuates the gestures and quotidian rhythms of her subjects with photographs created by alternative processes along with sculpture, sound and video. On View May 2 – June 27. Free and Open to All!

    • May 9, 10, 11: Big Band Celebration Weekend at the Omni Mount Washington Resort – *Book By May 9th* The nostalgic Big Band Era comes to life at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa, featuring the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra on Friday night, and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra on Saturday.     • May 8: Charcuterie Making and Wine Tasting at Seven Birches Winery – *Sign up by May 5!* Learn how to build a themed charcuterie board and sip a little Seven Birches wine in our relaxed winery located in the Riverwalk Resort. Tips and tricks will be shared to  curate a charcuterie box to take home! Everyone will receive a selection of artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and accoutrements that they will use to create, with instruction,  into a tasty treat to take home or stay and enjoy. $70/Person. | 5:00 PM.
    • May 9: Lost River Gorge – Reopening May 9, 2025! – Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves, located in New Hampshire’s Kinsman Notch, is a land of spectacular beauty forged by the powerful forces of nature.  Follow the wooden boardwalk trail through the gorge as it winds its way along the Lost River.  Explore jagged rock walls, gigantic boulders, rock-strewn glacial boulder caves, and cascading waterfalls.  Discover the Forest Adventure Trail, treehouse, and suspension bridge.  Elevate your experience by climbing into the Giant Bird Nest to observe a forest that stretches as far as the eye can see. 
    • May 9: Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa – Kick off Big Band Weekend in unforgettable style at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa with the legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra, performing live on Friday, May 9, as this iconic ensemble brings the spirit of the swing era to the majestic mountains of New Hampshire.     • May 9: Chad Hollister Band presented by The Flying Monkey Movie House & Performance Center
      Chad Hollister Band hails from Vermont. They have been evolving and touring the country for over 30 years. Anthony J. Resta (Collective Soul, Elton John, Shawn Mullins) says “Hollisters music is pure sonic alchemy” which means it’s damn good in Vermont terms! | DOORS 6:00 PM | SHOW 7:30 PM | Ages 13+ | Tickets start at $25.
    • May 10: Ladies of Laughter presented by The Colonial Theatre – Mother’s Day Weekend – Mom’s Just Wanna Have Fun!     • May 11: Mother’s Day Brunch at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & SpaThere is nothing more special than treating mom to a delicious brunch with the whole family.     • May 17: Skynard’s Hatchet presented by the Flying Monkey Movie House & Performance Center – With decades of musical experience to draw from, this group of dedicated southern rock fans created Skynyrd’s Hatchet as a balls-to-the-wall southern rock and roll show that covers the many hits and deep cuts from these two infamous bands.     • June 8: 6th Annual Bretton Woods Memorial Golf TournamentJoin us on Sunday, June 8, 2025 for the annual Bretton Woods Memorial Golf Tournament to raise awareness and fundraise for the Omni Say Goodnight to Hunger campaign. Register as an individual or as a four-person team and join us on the Mount Washington Course for this 18-hole golf scramble tournament. Call the Golf Club House for more details 603-278-4653.
