Bretton Woods Ski Area
Bretton Woods Ski Area is known to be very family-friendly to ski. With 464 skiable acres, the space allows for more wide ski slopes with flat to moderate consistent pitch slopes. This makes the area a great place for beginners to learn especially with fast lifts taking as many as 14,000 skiers up the mountain per hour. Although Bretton Woods is a great place for beginners and kids, it also offers 46 black diamond and double black diamond runs for experienced skiers looking for a thrill. That’s 47% of their slopes. Beginner trails make up 24% of their runs, while intermediates make up 29%. Compared to Cannon Mountain, Bretton Woods actually offers more expert trails even though Cannon is known as the harder mountain to ski.
