Best Places For White Mountains Tubing
Local Tip: Snow tubing is very popular in the White Mountains. Many businesses limit the number of tickets they sell to manage crowding and lines. We recommend booking your tubing sessions online at least a few days in advance to ensure your spot.
Bretton Woods
The Bretton Woods Nordic Center offers some of the best White Mountains tubing! The long tubing run is packed tight to ensure you go as fast as possible. Tube rentals are $12 an hour and are available at the Stone Pillar Lodge on a first-come, first-serve basis. No lifts are available, so you will have to do a little hiking with your tube in tow. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign a waiver.
Loon Mountain
Many people enjoy snow tubing at Loon Mountain because they offer afternoon and night sessions and a lift to get to the top of the hill. The track is about 1,000 feet long and descends 250 feet! It’s a thrill people of all ages enjoy. Tubing sessions are one hour. Kids must be at least eight years old to participate, and a parent or guardian must sign a waiver for kids under 18.
Great Glen Trails
Great Glen Trails offers one of the best White Mountain tubing deals in the area. Sessions are two hours for $20 and include the tubes! Kids four years old and younger are free. It is a traditional walk-up tubing hill ready for you to slide down as fast as possible.
Local Tip: Every adult needs to sign a tubing waiver, and all waivers must be signed online before you arrive for your sessions.
Cranmore Mountain Resort
Cranmore Mountain Resort features 10 snow tubing lanes ready for high speeds and great fun. Lifts are available to help make your way up the hill. Sessions are two hours and cost $45. Kids under 42 inches are $5 and must ride with an adult. Anyone more than 42 inches can’t ride with another person.
