Wow - that's the only way to describe the feeling as you walk into this contemporary rustic home whose construction was just completed in 2024. While the high-end furnishing and a modern rustic décor are magazine worthy, it's the view that steals the show! Cannon Mountain and Mt. Moosilauke standing majestically right in front of you, whether you admire them from the massive windows or the gorgeous decks.
The home is located just up the road from the beautiful Franconia Inn, which offers a plethora of activities including horseback riding, mountain biking and trails. In season, across from the inn, you can even enjoy a glider ride to soak in the spectacular views! In the winter, the inn offers ice skating, tubing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing (NOTE - we are not affiliated to the inn and cannot guarantee availability of any specific activity!). A short drive away, you will want to spend time enjoying the raw beauty of Franconia Notch, and explore its many hidden wonders - from The Basin to the Flume Gorge to stunning hikes such as Lonesome Lake or the more strenuous Franconia Ridge. And don't forget kid friendly attractions such as Clark's Trading Post, Story Land, Santa's Village and the Lost River Gorge - all great option for a day trip! In the winter, of course, you'll also want to spend some time at the popular ski resorts of Cannon Mountain, Loon, or Bretton Woods, or visit the fabled Ice Castles, all a short drive away.
With 2 completed levels (one more to come, not quite ready yet!), the home currently offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, with lots of living space, a game area with lots of fun games and activities and even a popcorn machine! -Check-in: Any time after 4PM; Check-out: 11 am. Unauthorized early arrivals or late checkouts subject to $100/hr fee.
-Parking Limit: 4 Vehicles. Please contact Bretton Woods Vacations if you have any questions.
- No Pets and No Unauthorized Guests: Guest count must match the number in your reservation. Please let us know if the number has changed. Unauthorized pets or guests subject to $300 fee and immediate termination of your stay with no refunds. Absolutely NO PARTIES without express authorization
-Quiet Hours: From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., please keep noise to a minimum. During the day, please make sure noise levels are low enough not to bother others, and never leave a barking dog unattended! No fireworks on property. A $100 fee may be imposed for violations of these rules.
-No smoking inside the unit; $250 fee for violation.
-We are in Bear Country! No trash or food is to be left outside at any time; $100 fee for violations.
-Some of our homes are equipped with exterior cameras for security purposes.
-We have relaxed our cancellation policies. However, please note that there will be no exception to these policies, for no reason, no matter what the circumstances. Travel insurance is available on our website and from a variety of other sources; it is the traveler's responsibility to decide whether to protect their purchase or not. Due to contractual obligations with property owners, we will not be able to make any exceptions under any circumstances.
-Our homes are in rural locations in the North Country. We live in a beautiful environment surrounded by pristine natural habitats, and share this land with a variety of animals. We do our best to ensure a proper balance between pest control and health concerns and appreciate your patience if a critter may find its way in. Our team is always available to come take care of it. To help prevent issues, please refrain from leaving doors propped open and avoid leaving food in open space which could attract rodents and/or insects.
